Veteran Singles got off to a start and now moves into the Semi Final stage with Russel Taylor to play Mick Dashwood and Russel Hewitt to take on Rob Crewdson. These matches are to take place on the 10th of September at 12:30PM.

The Stan Capuano draw is now up inside the club on the Ladies Board. A great number of participants means this event will be as successful as it has been in previous years and there will be some interesting games taking place on the 17th of September at 8:30AM. Games are also able to be played on or before the start date.

NERANG COMMUNITY BOWLS CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Nerang Community Bowls Club will be hosting the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 24th of September. Doors will open at 10:00AM (financial members only) and they will be closed for the meeting at 10:30AM. Make sure you are there on time, this is a great opportunity for both social members and bowling members to hear what has happened over the past 12 months as well as being able to cast a vote to elect their new Community Board members.

There are four positions vacant for election this year – Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary & and a Committee Member. These positions are extremely important for all of us over the next 12 months and is a great chance for any financial member prior to the 2022 AGM to put their name forward and help the club.

If you or anyone you know are willing to put in the time and effort to fulfill one of these positions, ask for a nomination sheet from the front reception.

Good luck everyone for their games this weekend and as always, keep an eye out on the main board for upcoming competitions and events!
