What an event today! We saw some of the most accomplished and efficient bowlers combine with some new faces and adapt to conditions that were less than perfect.
Robert “The Crucifier” Crewsdon & Larry “The Bowler” Bowdler went toe to toe with the absolute shadow in the dark Greg “The Wok” Dobson & Dave “I Can” McCann. Larry & Rob went down 25-2.
Our second rink was privilege enough to spot some of the most accomplished bowlers from our club when it comes to the highest tier of bowling at McKenzie Park. New bowler Gary McKay fit perfectly into the system and played like he was one of the other 3 veterans on the paddock.
Gary “Pirate” McKay & his right-hand man, Tony “Price is Left” Price boiled John “Teapot” Mitchell & Jock “The Irish” Strap in a back and fourth game that ended 25-14.
We look forward to the final on the 7th of August!
