District Triples at Mermaid Beach was to be played. With a team missing, the two ladies from Mudgeeraba and our very own Sandra Taylor from McKenzie Park Ladies filled the gap.
Sue Melville, Sandra Taylor & Katie Debnam VS’ed the incredibly skilled team from Broadbeach in the final – Cheryl Heaps, Annie McClure & Bronwyn Stevens.
It was an amazing feat for Sandra Taylor and the Mudgeeraba ladies to come in on a moments whim and take home the District Triples Trophy with a very hard fought win 26-21.
Massive congratulations ladies, and a big round of applause to Sandra Taylor who continually shows her skills around McKenzie Park in whatever competition she sets her sights on.
