Week 4 proved to be a very exciting week. The Championship Fours FINAL went off with a bang.

Both teams had a terrific draw where they outplayed their opponents in various conditions. But it was the team of Peter Dymock(L), Russel Taylor, Ray Collins and Clint Sheldon(S) that proved to be too much for Paul Krekelberg(L), Rob Crewdson, Russel Hewitt and Larry Bowdler(S) taking the much older and more experienced opponent down 28 to 12.
Social Tuesday was two games of 3 bowl pairs where Des Lappin & Russel Hewitt winning convincingly and taking home the big bucks.
In Max Morris Memorial, the Division 3 – Section E team overpowered Helensvale with 3 rink wins and secured their spot on top of the ladder. With two tough games ahead to finish off the season, it will be hard work and each player will need to rise to the occasion.
The week ahead is going to be a good one with Q7’s beginning and starting off with a double header!
