As Max Morris Memorial reaches it’s last couple of weeks before finals, the Q7 is about to fire up. A lot of us have waited for months for this event to begin. The teams are fired up and it’s time to get the show underway!
With our Division 3 – Section E Max Morris Memorial team currently in first position, it’s time for them to seal their position with a 3 rink win over Musgrave Hill tomorrow. It will be no easy feat as they take on Musgrave at home and rumor’s the green is running relatively quickly at around 18 seconds.
The Division 3 – Section D Max Morris Memorial team are down, but not by all means out as they have a double header this weekend with one game being played at home VS Tweed Heads and another game on Sunday VS Tugun at Tugun. To win here will see them climb dramatically up the ladder and be in perfect position to grab a top spot. Support them at home at 8:30AM on Saturday.
All three Q7 teams have a double header this weekend for the first round. There is a total of 3 games being played at home, with one on Saturday at 1:00PM and two on Sunday at 1:00PM. This competition is what one would refer to as the “Bees Knees” for 2023. A great chance for any avid bowler to see some of the best fight it out!
