Week 9 2023
Club Highlights Matches Q7

Week 9 2023

After Week 8 was tumultuous with expected results not being in line with our predictions, it most definitely made our teams go out with a new found attitude to rectify their “off” week.

Q7’s gave it their all and their effort prevailed. Division 5 – Section 2 took on Hamilton for a second time during the competition and coincidently got the same overall rinks and score as last time, minus the shots. That puts our Division 5 just two points behind the competition leader in Section 2, Beenleigh. Who they will play this weekend at the Muddies home turf.

Division 6 – Section 4 went against Mt Gravatt and really went out to show the rest of the sections in Division 6 why they are capable of anything when they also got the same result as their Round 1 previous engagement – 10 to 0. Putting them 12 points ahead of the Magpies with only a couple of rounds to go.

Division 6 – Section 5 had a great game against Logan, in which they ALSO got the same result as their first round match up against the same team, 10 – 0. With only a single point between them and the top of the ladder Macleay Island, the last couple of weeks are imperative!

The Men’s Championship Pairs went through their Semi Final with a magnificent effort by all involved, especially those who backed up their Q7’s wins by playing the very next day!
