Slow and steady wins the race“? or “It takes time for a flower to bloom“?….. it doesn’t really matter what your favourite saying is, because it finally paid off! We return this week with three wins from all three teams in Summer Nines!

Division Blue refreshed ranks with some great additions, and it paid off strongly with them knocking off the first placed Canungra 94-49 in what will be a massive confidence boost for their ongoing crusade to be in the finals. Presently sitting in fourth on the ladder, they will be hungry to beat up Musgrave Hill this coming weekend.

Division White took on Beenleigh, which was always going to be a defiant opponent. White managed to pull it all together and down them 67-51. This win puts them even closer to the top of the ladder, currently situated third and playing Broadbeach at home this week, they will be desperate to win to insure they remain in a great seat for the coming weeks.

Division Purple seemed to just not be able to make it across the line recently, but they turned that around with an awesome win over Broadbeach at Broady. 67-53 over Broadbeach gives them that attitude of success and a much needed inspirational lift they need to continue into this weekend against Musgrave Hill at home. Just about halfway through the season, Purple have a great chance to rack up some points in the coming weeks to push further up the ladder. An abundance of teams close in score, Purple can very well find themselves at the top end of the ladder come the end of Week 9.

Here is the list for Round 5 (as always, thanks Teapot for the list on time)! Little to no changes at all this week – why change a winning formula?
